This category will look to award agencies by discipline taking into account: will look to award agencies by discipline taking into account:
Achievements against objectives, Scope of operation, Business growth, Client profile & disciplines, New business wins, client retention and relationships, Awards and recognition within the eligibility period, Staff retention and development initiatives, Creative output where applicable, How the agency has played a positive role in the advancement and reputation of the industry during the review period, including examples of work, promotions and initiatives that lead the industry – including DE&I and sustainability initiatives, How the agency provides an exceptional place to work for staff and has built a strong positive culture.
Creative Agency
This category recognises the most creative advertising agencies. Judges will be looking to award and agency that consistently creates work to the highest level and an emphasis will be placed on the creative output criteria section. Samples of creative work will be required as support material. Embedded video in your PDF is accepted or uploaded in the online portal as supplemental documents.
Digital Agency
This category will look to award agencies by discipline taking into account: will look to award agencies by discipline taking into account:

Open to independent agencies and agencies that are majority owned (51%)
by independent shareholders or its management. All disciplines are welcome.
Agencies not eligible are those who are either majority or fully backed by a
multi- national holding company as well as sharing resources or using the
holding agency brand name.
For the avoidance of doubt, Agencies that are not part of a Network, but which
are owned more than 20% by a Holding Company are not considered to be an
Independent Agency. The number of offices an Agency has and the number of
countries in which an Agency is located is irrelevant as to whether an Agency is
an Independent Agency.

Account Person
This award recognises professionals
responsible for client account management
who have displayed the most innovation,
skills and enthusiasm in bringing the
benefits of advertising to their clients’
businesses, resulting in the development of
solid business relationships. Judges will
consider contribution to the agency and
clients, client relationship management,
client retention as well as new business
wins and positive organic growth for clients.
Agency/Producer or Team
This award recognises agency producers
who have displayed the most innovation,
skills and enthusiasm when executing
agencies’ campaign ideas. Judges will
consider the agency producer/ producers’
contribution to the agency and their clients,
how they made difficult executions happen,
contributed to the most creative campaigns
and facilitated long-lasting relationships
with clients in the process.
Creative Leader
The award recognises creative directors
and chief creative officers who have
overseen the best work for an individual
office (or multiple offices in the same
region) during the review period and have
not only set the standard for creative
excellence but have also raised the bar for
innovation and disruptive big ideas. Judges
will consider recognition received at the
major recognised award shows and – if they
are in a senior leadership role – the
individual’s contribution to staff
development initiatives, particularly their
involvement in nurturing young talent,
and how their work has contributed to the role or image of advertising in the region.
Samples of the nominee’s work will be
required as support materials.
Creative Team
This award recognises the team behind the
best work across the region during the
review period. The winning team will have
not only set the standard for creative
excellence but have also raised the bar for
innovation and disruptive big ideas. Ideally,
the team will have created campaigns for
more than one brand.
Corporate Comms & Marketing Team or Individual
Open to the communications or marketing
team within the agency, this award
recognises success in addressing issues
related to corporate communications,
reputation, brand-building, corporate campaign execution and media relations.
These will be two separate awards to
recognise a professional and a team.
Head of Agency
This award recognises the heads of
agencies nationally or regionally who have individually done the most to advance their
agency/network in the industry.
Judges will consider the individual’s
achievements during the eligibility period,
including achievement against objectives,
size of local operation, client profile and
disciplines, new business wins, client
retention, personal involvement in staff
development initiatives, innovation with
results, agency/network development and
contribution to the role or image of the
marketing communications industry in his
or her market.
Investments / Trading / Media Buyer of the Year & Team of the Year
This award is for the media buyer/trader or
investor who has made the biggest impact
on their clients’ advertising through the
application of creativity and strategic
thought to the media buying process. These
will be two separate awards to recognise a
professional and a team.
New Business Development Person of the Year & Team of the Year
This award is for the new business
development person/team who has proven to
have built and developed a new account or
accounts, or expanded the services of an
established client relationship or relationships.

recognise a professional and a team.
Talent Management Individual & Team
This award recognises the talent
management professional or team that has
most effectively aligned the network’s
people strategies with business outcomes
during the review period. These will be two
separate awards to recognise a
professional and a team.
Influencer Management Team
This award recognises the influencer
management team within an agency that
has driven the most revenue and growth
from existing or new business, and that has
regularly hit and surpassed client-supplied
KPIs, delivering good ROI for its clients.
Outstanding Woman in Advertising or Media
This category is open to to any woman
working in an individual or team role within
an agency. Entrants should be able to
demonstrate outstanding performance
within their given role.
Strategy Leader
This award recognises the individual who
has made the biggest impact on clients’
business through the development of
breakthrough consumer strategies, brand
and communication strategies, as well as
innovation and commercial strategy
development.
Strategic Planner of the Year & Strategic Planning Team of the Year
This award is for the strategic planning professionals who have made the biggest impact on their clients’ advertising through the effective use of media planning, advertising planning, creative strategy planning, content planning, brand strategy planning or customer experience planning during the review period. These will be two separate awards to recognise a professional and a team. Judges will consider the individual’s or team’s contribution to agency and client, as well as strategic skills, examples of approaches to problem solving and ability to intelligently recommend and explore new and diverse platform options. Entrants should also demonstrate
the results of their work where possible
Arabic Copywriter of the Year
This category is open to copywriters
working in full or in part in Arabic. It
recognises the best Arabic copywriting
across the region during the review period.
The winning entrant will have not only set
the standard for creative excellence, but
also raised the bar for innovation and
disruptive big ideas. Ideally they will have
worked for more than one brand.
